What Showvera keeps about you when you buy tickets, and why.
What we collect
When you buy, we ask for your name, your mobile number and, if you want to give it, your email. We also keep the tickets you chose and whether your payment went through.
When you add tickets to your cart, we note the site or link you came from, your approximate city and whether you use a phone or a computer, to understand how tickets sell. We work out the city from your internet address and do not keep the address.
When you open an event's page, we count the visit so the organizer can see how many people looked at it, and how many are on the page right now. We count each person once a day using a scrambled code made from your internet address and browser, which cannot be turned back into either and is deleted after two days. We do not use a cookie for this.
If a page crashes in your browser, it sends us what went wrong, the page (without any ticket link in it) and your browser and phone type, so we can fix it. Nothing that identifies you is sent, and these reports are deleted after 30 days.
We do not make an account for you, and we never see your card or UPI details: they go straight to the payment gateway.
How we use it
To take your order and issue your tickets.
To send your passes and any news about the event on WhatsApp and, if you gave one, by email.
To let you find your tickets again.
To give you a GST invoice and keep the records the law requires.
To help you when you contact us.
Who else sees it
Only the services that help us run your order: the payment gateway that takes your payment, the WhatsApp and email services that deliver our messages, and the hosting provider that stores our data. They may use it only for that purpose.
We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.
Cookies
We use only the cookies the site needs to work, such as one that remembers your cart while you shop. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Order records and invoices are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Other details are kept only as long as we need them to run your order and answer your questions.
Keeping it safe
This site uses HTTPS. Your passes open only through a private link, and finding your tickets again needs a one-time code sent to the number or email you bought with. No system is perfectly safe, so we also limit who can see your details to the people who need to.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, or delete them. We will do that unless the law says we must keep them, as it does for invoices. Use the details on the Contact page.

If we change this page, the new version replaces this one here.
